From October 11 to 12, the 2013 National Tunnel Academic Exchange Conference was held in Chongqing. The exchange meeting is an annual event of the highway tunnel industry. 240 highway tunnel experts from all over the country, including Sun Jun and Wang Mengshu, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, attended the meeting. On behalf of the first co-organizer, Wang Xin, chief engineer of Dongfang Yuhong, and Peng Xiaoping, general manager of Bridge and Tunnel Division, led the self-adhesive film business team to attend the meeting. Wang Xin made an in-depth report entitled "Durability Guarantee Technology for Traffic Tunnel Engineering" at the meeting. In the report, according to the current severe situation of tunnel waterproofing, he put forward the application of high-density polyethylene self-adhesive film waterproofing membrane and pre-laid anti-adhesive construction technology in tunnel waterproofing, which attracted wide attention and warm discussion from experts. Through this conference, tunnel experts have a deeper understanding and understanding of new materials and technologies for tunnel waterproofing.
