Compared with the traditional snow melting agent, this material is more environmentally friendly and will not harm the surrounding vegetation and crops. At present, Beijing is preparing to pave a test section of suburban highway to test the effect of anti-freeze-thaw asphalt pavement with practice. If it is good, it will be widely used. At present, long-life asphalt pavement materials are also in the process of research and development, through strict material selection and mixture design, reasonable matching of the parameters of each structural layer of asphalt pavement, a moderate increase in the thickness of the asphalt mixture surface, so that the damage of the road surface only occurs in the surface layer, in the design life without structural repair and reconstruction. The promotion and application of these new materials can more than double the service life of roads to 30 to 40 years for the same traffic flow and load level.
